What is Integral Sound?

Integral Sound Healing is a holistic healing treatment that treats the whole person, not just the symptoms. It is about consciously applying processes and techniques through sounds to facilitate healing. It can be described as the meeting point between ancient wisdom, modern science, art and alchemical healing.

History Of Sound

When introducing the science, art and alchemy of Sound Healing, we can go back as far as Pythagoras (5th Century BCE) who studied the effects of sound and its geometry, planetary aspects and relationships of sound and its healing influence. He was quoted as saying; “The most divine art is that of Healing, it must occupy itself as much with the soul as with the body.” We need to pay much more attention to healing than what is going on in the physicality of an individual.

Healing Effects

Sonic waves and vibrations penetrate down to the cellular level to dissolve trauma and reset cells to their natural patterns, allowing them to calm inflammation and relieve pain. Sound can also relax the nerve plexuses, muscles and tissues and promotes blood and lymph circulation, balancing the autonomic nervous system, reducing stress and fatigue. Calming traumatised cells allows the body to accelerate its own natural healing abilities and boost recovery.

The benefits are not only physical, but the healing also impacts the bioenergy fields, meridians, chakras, sound body and Aura. Helps with endocrine glands, hormone balance, organ function and can create emotional and mental balance. Sound can also assist on a spirit and soul level such as support to end of life illnesses such as cancer.
